Intended learning outcomes
The students must:
- learn concepts of Sustainability in construction and sustainable construction;
- learn deterioration of materials, indoor air quality, toxicity of materials and nanomaterials in building construction; bioclimatic architecture;
- learn and develop solutions in order to fullfil the norms related to the European strategy for energy in buildings;
- develop skills related to the main certification systems (LEED and LiderA);
- develop skills and capacity to analyse the selection of sustainable materials versus non sustainable materials;
- develop skills on maintenance and rehabilitation of technical systems and of facility management of buildings;
- develop skills on NZEB.
